| Open loop system
An open loop system is for climates where there is no risk of freezing.Recirculation freeze protection can be provided by the Recirculation feature in the controller. An Open Loop Water Heating System provides many advantages. It is the simplest and typically the least expensive active system to install. There is no heat exchanger, which allows efficient heat transfer directly to the water. The system Operates at standard line pressure. It is simple to add capacity to the system if demand changes. The system integrates easily with existing systems. When there is not enough energy for sun, an electrical back up element will be automatically switched on by controller.

Close loop system with electrical back up
Closed Loop Solar Heating Systems are suitable for single and multiple solar heating Application systems, e.g. domestic solar water heating, solar water heating hot tub, solar Swimming pool heating or solar space heating systems. The Closed Loop Solar Systems suitable for areas with questionable water quality and all climate conditions. The Closed Solar Heating Systems are the preferred option for extremely cold areas. When there is not enough energy for sun, an electrical back up element will be automatically switched on by controller.

Close loop system with gas back up
This system is same as system No.2 except it is fitted together with a conventional gas heater.

Pool heating
A Closed Loop system can be used to link domestic hot water (DHW) or commercial hot water and swimming pool to the same collector. It is normal to include domestic hot water in any multiple applications as it is a year round requirement.

Space heating
The solar collector System is capable of contributing significantly to space heating requirements in many areas. The best use for solar energy is to heat a building by radiant under floor hydraulic heating, which requires water at a temperature of around 60C. This system usually uses a concrete floor slab with special water pipes running through it, to provide a pleasant, even, low temperature radiant heat. The floor slab will also provide heat storage.
